Spring Registration

The Silvermine School of Art with its renowned faculty of artist-educators, presents abundant opportunities for individuals of all ages to enjoy and learn about the arts. The award-winning School is the preeminent learning destination for visual arts in Fairfield County with more than 4,000 annual enrollments. Hundreds of courses and workshops in numerous disciplines are offered through the School that will accommodate the busiest of schedules.

Classes are offered in ceramics, digital imaging, drawing, flame working, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, wood working, silversmithing, and special studies. Courses are designed for full and part-time students of all ages and levels, from beginners to professional artists. In addition to adult programs, the school features courses and workshops for children and teens throughout the year as well as family workshops for children and parents to experience art together. In the Summer we offer week long Art Studios for ages 4-12 and Teen Workshops for ages 13-17.

Draw Until You Drop!

Saturday, March 30, 9am until 6pm

This is a day of non-stop drawing, open to the public. It's an opportunity for continuous, intensive figure drawing with a model(s) in sustained poses and still life set-ups. Participants of all skill levels, ages 16 and up, will work alongside Silvermine Faculty, Guild Artists Members and students to develop their artistic vision, sharpen skills and energize their studio experience through drawing.

Registration can be made in advance or you can register the day of the event. Tables, easels, drawing horses, drawing boards and basic drawing supplies will be available.

Help support the Silvermine School of Art Scholarship fund by purchasing a variety of donated art materials and equipment at really good prices. We always need donated items for this sale so please bring us all the art books, equipment and materials you have not used in years on our drop off days - Wednesday, April 10 - 10am-5pm and Thursday, April 11 - 10am to 5pm
