You do not need to put your birthday party plans on hold – digital birthday parties with Silvermine School of Art bring the fun and artistic expertise that Silvermine is known for into the comfort of your home! Parties take place over Zoom with one of our esteemed faculty members leading an art project of your child’s choosing. Children can choose from the options listed below and can be customized to your child’s interest.

WE OFFER SEVERAL OPTIONS FOR YOUR PARTY, CATERED TO THE BIRTHDAY PERSON’S INTEREST!

EXAMPLES INCLUDE:

Ages: 4 – 8
• Paintings Party with tempera paint. Themes include:
o Favorite Animal
o Character from Book, TV or movie
o Landscape (realistic or fantasy)
• Mixed Media Painting Project (a mix of painting and collage)
o Favorite animal, character, doll, etc.
• Paint Marbling
• Sculpting with Model Magic
o Fantasy Animals
o Dolls
• Tin Can Wind Stocks
• Bubble Painting

Ages: 8 – 13
• Mono-Printing Without a Press
o Patterns, abstraction, landscapes, people, nature, background for collage, etc.
• Paintings Party in acrylic or watercolor. Themes include:
o Favorite Animal
o Character from Book, TV or movie
o Landscape (realistic or fantasy)
o Pattern Tape project (just acrylic)
• Mixed Media Painting Project (a mix of painting and collage)
o Favorite animal, character, doll, etc.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
• An Experienced Art Instructor

Virtual birthday parties are 1 to 1.5 hours in length.

PRICING:
• 1 hr. $150 for up to 10 participants
• 1.5 hr. $175 for up to 10 participants
• $15 for each additional child
• Maximum number of participants 15

SUPPLIES

Parents will be responsible for distributing the art supplies to the party participants. Parents can pick up the supplies needed for the party directly from Jerry’s Artarama in Norwalk, or Silvermine can order and collect the supplies for you and have it ready for pick up before for the party for a flat fee of $175. Parents will discuss supplies in detail with the birthday party coordinator before any ordering takes place.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
To help ensure the best possible experience, we ask that you to adhere to the following:
• All participants must have access to computer, tablet, or smartphone with Internet access.
• Silvermine School of Art must be given an exact head count for the party 24 hours before the party.
• A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required at the time of booking to secure your date. The balance is due 24 hours before party.
• Cancellations will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
