Our educational community programs extend beyond the Silvermine campus to bring transformative programs that inspire creativity, build community, promote education, and offer enjoyment. Silvermine launched the ArtAcademy program in partnership with STAR, inc, Norwalk, CT, to benefit people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) living in Fairfield County.
ArtAcademy is designed to tap into the transformative power of art for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilites (I/DD) by engaging them in a variety of art classes in an inclusive setting on Silvermine’s campus.
On February 23, Fairfield County’s Giving Day, donors will have 24 hours to help bring ArtAcademy to Silvermine for another year. This program is supported by donors like you.
