“In my painting I focus on the process, experimentation, materials and the concepts involved in creating a finished work. These are the things that I intend to pass along to my students. How does one start, perhaps even more importantly how do you know you are finished with a painting? What are the physical and mental tools that one needs to create? Having been a painter in various media for over 25 years I feel that I can help students who are at various levels in their experience to answer these questions.”
