2–3 pmArtist Conversation—Join Leonard Everett Fisher, award-winning children’s book Illustrator, author, painter, in conversation with Anne Butler Rice, Director of Education at Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. Fisher served in WWII, illustrated 250 books, and authored 88 books for young readers. Free and open to the public.

3–4:30 pmFamily Art Making and Story Telling Activities—Led by Silvermine Teaching Artists, adults and children create a variety of fun projects—mural painting, clay sculpting, mixed-media portraits and gardens, printmaking and more. Enjoy Story Corner with books read by teens from New Canaan CARES High School Leadership Program.
