This course is perfect for those who want to give jewelry-making a try, or those looking to refine skills they have picked up on their own. Wire working is a wonderful, portable method to create striking jewelry easily continued at home. You will be introduced to the basic techniques needed to design and fabricate your own style of jewelry. Become familiar with tools and their proper use as you acquire the skills for small-scale forging, wire wrapping, crafting chains and findings. With a solid foundation, we may move forward adding more intricate techniques and distinct flair to your work. Discover all there tricks that take your jewelry from good to great. This is a techniques oriented course. Students’ abilities will determine which projects are made and completed during class. No experience necessary.
